Where It All Began
Founded in 2023, The Hive was born from a simple observation: creative professionals and entrepreneurs needed a better alternative to noisy coffee shops and crowded coworking spaces.
Located in the heart of Haymarket, Virginia, we designed The Hive to be a sanctuary for focused work. Our private offices and conference room provide the perfect environment for everything from simple business execution to incubating breakthrough ideas.
As a DBA of ExcelMart, LLC, The Hive combines professional expertise with a passion for creating spaces that inspire productivity and creativity.

I've spent my career building businesses, partnering with admired brands, and working alongside entrepreneurs who put everything on the line. Seeing some win and others lose gave me a deep respect for the realities of modern work and a conviction that we can do it differently.
In 2023, I launched a prototype of Hive Modern Work Studio in my hometown: a studio that incubates both vocational and creative work, built around outcomes rather than hours. I don't claim to have mastered work life balance, but I believe in working on your terms in spaces that make room for fun, creativity, and flexibility.
Hive is that space: a modern work studio where hive minds come together or work solo to solve problems, build ideas, and create in the way they do it best.
The Hive will evolve over time both in concept and model, but it will only do so based on your feedback and participation.
